Latest Status
- The Meadows South complex has 18 buildings and 2 major common areas serviced by the city's reclaimed water system.
- We have 41 sprinkler zones. Each zone has about 15 sprinkler heads.
- Each building has 2 zones - a front and a rear - designated by an "F" and an "R" on the watering schedule.
- The main panel controller has not worked in quite some time. Your Board voted to take this main controller out of service and utilize
a battery-operated timer located at each zone.
- To date, 39 of these timers have been installed and are providing water per the watering schedule linked below. The Association
is purchasing these timers as they become available at Lowes. We have 1 more to purchase and two to install.
- Kevin Wright, our Meadows South handyman, has been locating, repairing, and replacing sprinkler heads as necessary. Please continue to
give your Board additional time to get this system fixed. We hope to have everything running correctly before Christmas.
- Moving forward, the Association is going to add a concrete ground barrier to each solenoid valve complex in order to prevent damage to
the equipment from our mowers. We also intend to purchase new containers to protect the solenoid valve/timer hardware from damages
caused by the sun, mowing, and unauthorized users. Eventually, we are going to add PVC piping protection to the individual sprinkler
heads.
